The website needed to emphasise the corporate nature of CartsPlus as being part of a much larger organisation, together with an easy to use product selector. Busy executives need to make choices quickly and easily – this website had to be designed to meet that need. It also had to be flexible so as to allow new products to be added as required.

The introductory strap line, ‘Carts …. Plus a Whole Lot More’ immediately sums up the extent of the product offer. A changing selection of images showing different types of products in situ enables the user to immediately gain a quick impression of the product range. The invitation to view the product range is placed at the centre of the page, immediately capturing the user’s attention. This is reinforced by a line of subcategories at the top of the page which incorporate a click and reveal system.
The user is never overwhelmed by the provision of too much information at any one point. All the essential information is available at a very quick glance with clear directions at every stage on how to navigate the site.
